I am excited to announce that my 7th grade class will have a project displayed in the Logan Library for the entire month of November! The students worked SO hard on these masks, they turned out absolutely beautiful! My favorite part is the artist statement that accompanies each piece. The students had to type up a few paragraphs that discussed why they chose specific elements for their masks. Some students grasped the concept quickly, and others struggled to explain their work. Eventually each student ended up with a thoughtful statement to be displayed with their mask. The students are so excited to see the project displayed, if you have time this month make sure to stop by!
