The photography class spend the week outside enjoying the weather and experimenting with forced perspective. We learned about space and scale and then manipulated those elements to create humorous shots.
The foundations courses were introduced to linear perspective this week. They are working on pencil drawings featuring dramatic street scenes that are in perfect perspective. Here are some images of 6th graders hard at work!
5th Grade The fifth grade classes worked on drawing still life scenes featuring prickly cacti! They layered the plants to create depth and then created a patterned bowl to hold the cacti. They then traced their images and will paint next week. | 3rd & 4th Grade Third and fourth grade had their turn doing the Van Gogh inspired murals. The fourth graders did a great job copying the colors and lines, third grade might be a little young for this project. |
